Cape Verde against Poverty is a UK-based non-profit organization (company number 6250665) providing support and hope through self-sustaining projects in urban and rural districts in Sal, Cape Verde and surrounding areas. We work where there is extreme humanitarian need and where we can make a difference.

Our aim is to make a positive and sustainable difference to people's lives in Cape Verde by helping them to help themselves.

Our Objectives

• To build, support and sustain projects in Cape Verde.
• To work in marginalized urban and rural districts to initiate projects in housing, public amenities, recreational facilities, education and training. 
• To empower families and communities to improve their life chances, with a particular focus on young girls and women.  
• To work where there is extreme humanitarian need and where we can make a real difference.
